Base pay: $69,000–$110,400 per year

What you will do

  • Sell Ethicon surgical devices and solutions, with a focus on energy and endomechanical platforms.
  • Manage assigned physicians, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and sales territory accounts.
  • Demonstrate proper product use to clinicians in operating room environments.
  • Conduct sales presentations, customer education seminars, and manage customer questions and objections.
  • Build relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, authorized distributors, and key opinion leaders.
  • Analyze market and account data, set priorities, and deliver assigned sales forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sales.
  • Demonstrated achievement of sales objectives.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to work with surgeons and hospital decision-makers in operating room settings.
  • Ability to work professionally, ethically, and within healthcare compliance guidelines.

Nice to have

  • Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device experience, especially operating room sales.
  • Experience selling to highly educated or high-profile customer groups.
  • Experience developing new and innovative markets.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, time-management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, strategic account managers, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
