Senior Claim Analyst

Location: Hybrid; must reside near a Voya location in the United States: Minneapolis, Minnesota; Windsor, Connecticut; Atlanta, Georgia; or Charleston, South Carolina.

Salary: $56,220–$70,280 USD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Manage high-complexity Short-Term Disability, FMLA, and other paid leave claims.
• Analyze claims and determine accurate, timely payments and decisions.
• Guide claimants through the leave process with empathy, clarity, and professional communication.
• Mentor claims analysts and specialists and lead claim roundtables with documented action plans.
• Resolve contract and language discrepancies while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Manage work queues within service-level agreements and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience managing FMLA or unpaid leave claims.
• 2–3 years of experience managing Short-Term Disability or paid leave claims.
• Strong decision-making, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
