Maintenance Shop Technician A (Diesel Fleet)

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, chassis, and related fleet equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, diesel fuel and aftertreatment systems, including REGEN systems.
• Service air and hydraulic brakes, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Use electronic tools and scan tools to identify malfunctions and diagnose electrical concerns.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, and fabrication, including on-site and road repairs.
• Complete company training and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
• Experience performing inspections and repairs across heavy-truck or automotive systems, including suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, or diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8 and Class B or higher CDL are beneficial but not required.
