Diesel Mechanic

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas, United States; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Travel is required as needed to repair pumping equipment at work sites and district shops.

Salary: $28.00–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul diesel tractors and specialized pumping equipment.
• Ensure equipment meets DOT standards and applicable safety protocols.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and develop solutions that support equipment availability.
• Repair pumping equipment at work sites and district shops as required.
• Communicate technical maintenance needs and support a proactive safety culture.

Requirements

• At least one year of automotive maintenance or mechanical experience.
• Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of gasoline engine mechanics and preventive maintenance.
• Valid non-CDL driver's license.
• Basic personal hand tools are preferred.

Nice to have

• High school diploma, GED, two years of technical college, or military technical experience.
• Familiarity with or interest in cryogenics.
• Familiarity with or interest in hydraulics.
• Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and DOT brake certification.
