Engineering Technician III (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite work involving semiconductor equipment and clean-room environments.

Salary: $29.00–$39.60 per hour

What you will do

• Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronic and electro-mechanical systems, prototypes, test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems at both system and component level.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, equipment operation, maintenance, and process support.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing using engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Document testing through logbooks and procedures, assist with department procedures, and generate Quality Notifications.
• Follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment while working with tools, machinery, and clean-room systems.

Requirements

• Experience working in Class 100 clean-room environments and semiconductor manufacturing or R&D settings.
• Hands-on experience with Etch systems, ALD systems, and MDP processes or tools.
• Experience with system operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and process support.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal technical descriptions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, work in tight spaces, use hand and power tools, and operate forklifts or heavy machinery.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara and use required clean-room personal protective equipment.
