Production Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States; onsite factory role. Requires willingness to work third-shift hours, including day and night shifts for accommodation purposes, with possible compressed twelve-hour shifts and rotating three- to four-day workweeks.

Salary: $24–$34 per hour.

What you will do

• Manufacture, assemble, and test complex lithography systems and submodules according to established procedures and specifications.
• Identify technical, quality, and production issues, support solutions, and improve products and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain and improve technical product documentation, production records, procedures, and process standards.
• Support pilot production and the transition of new products and processes into volume production.
• Coordinate production-plan activities and control the use of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Train and mentor colleagues while supporting engineering testing, lean manufacturing, quality initiatives, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years of mechanical manufacturing or assembly experience; experience assembling small parts is preferred.
• At least 4 months of prior hirify.global experience as a Technician 4.
• Ability to assemble and test complex systems in a cleanroom while following strict procedures, technical documentation, and safety standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under changing deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to access United States-controlled technology before starting work.

Nice to have

• Five or more years of experience in a technical assembly environment.
• Lean manufacturing training, including Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or VSM.
• Experience with SAP, Office, and SPC programs.
