Engineer II Design Automation (C#/.NET)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support engineering automation applications using Rulestream, C#/.NET, VB.NET, and Solid Edge.
• Develop configurable design systems, user interfaces, database structures, integrations, and CAD automation capabilities.
• Build full-stack desktop, web, and client-side applications using scalable software design patterns.
• Work with SQL Server and Oracle to support application development and integration.
• Apply CAD modelling, drafting, Design for Manufacture, and Design for Assembly standards.
• Maintain engineering tools and outputs, including calculations, spreadsheets, parts lists, and BOM generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive software development experience, including CAD automation or engineering application development.
• Experience with Rulestream Architect, Engineer, VIA Web and Integration, ASP.NET, C#/.NET, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, serialization, WinForms, WPF, jQuery, AJAX, React or Angular, Bootstrap, and Material UI.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases, along with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
