Senior Full Stack Developer (React/.NET)

Location: Remote within the UK, with opportunities to work from Germany or Poland; applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Quarterly meetups take place at the London office.

Salary: £70,000–£90,000 per annum, dependent on experience; the role is advertised as paying up to £85,000.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve full stack applications using C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop software supporting merchandising, purchasing, inventory, pricing, promotions, and sales analysis.
• Design REST APIs, backend services, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven functionality using RabbitMQ, MassTransit, and Azure Service Bus.
• Deploy containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure, and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop React interfaces, including microfrontend solutions, and contribute to automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, investigate complex issues, support planning and estimation, and mentor less experienced developers.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of commercial software development experience with C#, SQL, Entity Framework Core, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• At least 4 years of professional experience with React or another modern frontend framework, plus strong full stack experience.
• Experience designing distributed applications, microservices, messaging or event-driven architectures, REST APIs, and scalable server-side applications.
• Extensive SQL Server experience and knowledge of relational database structures and data modelling.
• Commercial experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus understanding of Jenkins, CI/CD, GitFlow, automated testing, and peer review.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, pragmatic decision-making, and technical mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying or supporting workloads in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
• Experience with technical estimation, planning, project discovery, retail, or e-commerce environments.
