What you will do
- Process pre-payroll activities in accordance with German labor regulations.
- Collect payroll inputs with HR and finance teams and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain payroll documentation and records for internal and external audits.
- Handle exceptions, special cases, one-off payments, and time management reconciliations.
- Forecast payroll expenses and prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and management insights.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to submit information on time and support mid-year and year-end processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or a related field.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Experience with German payroll systems and German labor regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency with spreadsheet software.
- Ability to collaborate across departments, manage multiple deadlines, and improve processes.
