Payroll Specialist, EMEA (Finland) (Multi-country Payroll): Managing end-to-end payroll execution across Nordic and EMEA countries with an accent on statutory compliance, complex calculations, data accuracy, and internal controls. Focus on resolving escalations, auditing payroll records, supporting system upgrades, and standardizing payroll workflows across multiple jurisdictions.
Location: Remote from home; the role is open to candidates across all locations. The posting is administratively associated with Finland / Cytiva, but this does not limit candidate location.

What you will do
- Process multi-country payrolls across the Nordics and EMEA, including off-cycle payments, adjustments, final pay calculations, filings, and reports.
- Validate payroll data, resolve discrepancies, manage escalations, and interpret payroll policies across jurisdictions.
- Maintain and audit payroll records covering tax withholdings, benefits, and direct deposits.
- Support payroll system upgrades, integrations, configuration, and standardized workflow rollouts.
- Document payroll procedures and contribute to harmonization milestones and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience processing complex payroll in a multi-country environment.
- Strong end-to-end payroll expertise, including complex calculations and statutory requirements.
- Mandatory Finnish and Swedish language capability, together with English.
- Ability to manage priorities independently, make sound decisions, and handle sensitive payroll escalations.
Nice to have
- Experience with ADP, Workday, SAP, or similar payroll systems.
- Advanced data entry, reconciliation, and payroll audit skills.
- Experience troubleshooting payroll issues and implementing solutions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-country operational environment.
