Payroll HR Professional

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

What you will do

• Calculate and verify payroll for salaried and hourly permanent, temporary, and intern employees across Poland, Luxembourg, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
• Prepare payroll input reports, standard withholdings, deductions, bonus awards, commissions, and benefits adjustments.
• Work with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Perform payroll reconciliation, including pension payments, and balance quarterly, annual, month-end, and year-end records.
• Resolve monthly payroll errors, approve tax payments, and prepare regulatory and analytical reports.
• Support compliance with internal procedures and external payroll regulations.

Requirements

• Expertise in processing payroll in Poland; experience with payroll operations in Zurich, London, Luxembourg, or Dublin is advantageous.
• Experience with payroll and HR systems, especially Workday HCM.
• Knowledge of relevant payroll taxes and legislation is advantageous.
• Strong organization, planning, communication, analytical, and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
• Fluent English and Polish; minimum bachelor’s degree required.

• Experience with both in-house and outsourced payroll models.
