AVP, Patient Access & Pre-Access (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States, with weekly travel Monday through Thursday and onsite work at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as required.

Salary: $111,800–$160,000 annually, based on experience, plus eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Provide strategic vision, leadership, and operational oversight for Patient Access functions and senior access leaders.
• Lead Patient Access assessments, client implementations, integrations, virtual registration, public benefits, and dedicated client support operations.
• Modernize Patient Access through goal setting, performance reporting, action plans, technology adoption, process standardization, and communication tools.
• Build and lead geographically dispersed teams through staffing, coaching, performance management, recruiting, retention, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Advise internal and external executive leaders, analyze performance metrics, forecast trends, and reduce operational barriers and risk.
• Support budget management, resource planning, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, or Pre-Access experience in a hospital or large health system.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience, including management of multiple geographically dispersed health systems.
• Experience implementing strategic initiatives and aligning company goals with operational execution.
• Advanced experience using AI to deliver business outcomes and move teams from experimentation to scale.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States; weekly travel and onsite client or office work are required.

Nice to have

• Acute-care experience.
• Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or a similar service environment.
• CRCR certification, or ability to obtain it within 9 months of employment with hirify.global support.
