VP, Bill Review Operations (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote, but must be based in the United States; work must comply with company policies such as HIPAA.

What you will do

• Lead the Bill Review Services organization, owning operational performance, service delivery, financial results, quality, and departmental objectives.
• Partner with the EVP, Payment Integrity to define strategic direction, annual priorities, growth plans, and resource allocation.
• Lead, coach, and develop senior leaders while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, sound decision-making, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, quality outcomes, budgets, operational risks, and capacity constraints.
• Drive strategic initiatives by aligning leaders and resources, resolving competing priorities, and removing execution barriers.
• Represent Bill Review Services in client executive meetings, enterprise initiatives, and cross-functional leadership discussions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, payment integrity, revenue cycle, bill review, managed care, or a related environment.
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing multiple functions through Directors or other senior leaders.
• Experience leading complex operations through growth, transformation, or organizational scaling while maintaining strong operational and financial performance.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including the use of performance metrics and data to set priorities and improve results.
• Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and hold high-performing leadership teams accountable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in payment integrity, bill review, claims processing, workers’ compensation, group health, or related healthcare services.
• Master’s degree such as an MBA or MHA.
