University Talent Acquisition Specialist (AI)

Location: McLean, Virginia; onsite in the office 5 days a week. Travel of up to 20% is expected during peak recruiting seasons.

Base salary: $50,000–$125,000 USD annually, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle campus recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Build partnerships with university career centers, academic departments, faculty advisors, and student organizations.
• Advise hiring managers and business leaders on university talent acquisition strategy and hiring needs.
• Optimize interview processes and candidate assessment frameworks for early-career talent.
• Strengthen the employer brand through campus events, information sessions, hackathons, and digital engagement.
• Track recruitment metrics, pipeline health, conversion rates, and time-to-fill to improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on recruiting experience across sourcing, interviewing, negotiating, and closing.
• Experience sourcing candidates across multiple platforms and converting passive talent.
• Strong stakeholder partnership skills and experience advising hiring managers or business leaders.
• Experience with employer branding, campus recruiting, interview processes, and candidate assessment methodologies.
• Availability to work onsite in McLean, Virginia 5 days per week and travel up to 20% during peak recruiting seasons.

Nice to have

• Technical recruiting experience or experience hiring for software engineering, computer science, or technology teams.
• Experience with recruitment metrics, funnel analytics, and KPIs.
• Experience with Greenhouse and Workday.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow.
