Manager, Full Stack Engineering (Azure/.NET)

Location: Remote in the Illinois Chicago metropolitan area; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $117,600–$161,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
• Design, build, modernize, and support applications, APIs, integrations, and services across Microsoft and Azure environments.
• Stay hands-on with coding, architecture, debugging, testing, code reviews, and technical delivery.
• Drive cloud adoption, technical debt reduction, platform optimization, reliability, security, and performance improvements.
• Establish DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and software quality practices.
• Partner with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering leaders while preparing legacy systems for enterprise migration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise applications and distributed systems.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing software engineers.
• Hands-on expertise with .NET, C#, SQL Server, RESTful APIs, integrations, and modern software architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, DevOps, legacy modernization, and operational reliability.
• Dedicated home workspace and internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload to protect member PHI and HIPAA information.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services, cloud transformation, AI-assisted development tools, and code-generation technologies.
• Background in healthcare, payer, managed care, Medicaid, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with DevSecOps, HIPAA, PHI handling, complex enterprise integrations, third-party platforms, or Azure and Microsoft certifications.
