Salary: $120,588 - $160,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and architecture of secure, cloud-native applications for complex public sector programs.
• Establish engineering standards, development best practices, and technical leadership for cross-functional teams.
• Develop modern full-stack applications, APIs, and microservices using scalable architectural patterns.
• Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, platform updates, and DevSecOps adoption.
• Integrate AI-powered features and intelligent automation while ensuring alignment with security and privacy practices.
• Mentor engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, and professional development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with enterprise-scale applications.
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Solution Architect role.
• Strong full-stack development skills and experience designing scalable application architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in one of the 16 listed US states.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting government technology programs and compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA, or HIPAA.
• Active or previous Public Trust, Secret, or other government security clearance.
• Experience with accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG) and secure software development.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and RAG implementation within enterprise software.
