TL;DR
Lead Fullstack Engineer (Government): Designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud-native applications for federal and state government customers with an accent on technical leadership, architecture standards, and DevSecOps. Salary: $120,588 - $160,000

What you will do
- Lead the design and architecture of secure, cloud-native applications for complex public sector programs.
- Establish engineering standards, development best practices, and technical leadership for cross-functional teams.
- Develop modern full-stack applications, APIs, and microservices using scalable architectural patterns.
- Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, platform updates, and DevSecOps adoption.
- Integrate AI-powered features and intelligent automation while ensuring alignment with security and privacy practices.
- Mentor engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, and professional development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with enterprise-scale applications.
- Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Solution Architect role.
- Strong full-stack development skills and experience designing scalable application architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Must be based in one of the 16 listed US states.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting government technology programs and compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA, or HIPAA.
- Active or previous Public Trust, Secret, or other government security clearance.
- Experience with accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG) and secure software development.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and RAG implementation within enterprise software.
