Software Engineer 3

Location: Sacramento, California, United States; hybrid work with up to 2 work-from-home days per week upon eligibility

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of software solutions using C#, .NET, and React across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Architect and implement scalable microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Design, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and automated deployments.
• Lead technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with architects, product managers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Support application modernization and migration from on-premises systems to cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Improve application security, performance, governance, monitoring, testing, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• At least 8 years of professional Software Engineering experience with strong C# and .NET expertise.
• Advanced experience with on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Git.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, software architecture patterns, security standards, and regulated application environments.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Cloud platform or relevant technology certifications.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise projects and working with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
