Engineer II Design Automation (CAD Automation)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support engineering automation applications using Rulestream, C#.NET, VB.NET, and Solid Edge.
• Build configurable design systems, user interfaces, databases, integrations, and full-stack desktop, web, and client applications.
• Develop CAD modelling and drafting standards incorporating Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly principles.
• Work with SQL Server and Oracle to support application development, integrations, calculations, parts lists, and BOM generation.
• Apply software design patterns and continuously improve design automation tools for productivity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Provide technical guidance, training, technical documentation, user guides, and process documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive software development experience, including CAD automation and engineering application development.
• Experience with Rulestream Architect, Engineer, VIA Web and Integration, ASP.NET, C#.NET, Entity Framework 6, and LINQ.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, serialization, JSON, XML, jQuery, AJAX, React or Angular, Bootstrap, Material UI, WinForms, and WPF.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases, plus strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective spoken and written English is required.
