Product Owner Intern (Fintech)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in-office

What you will do

• Support backlog refinement by organizing items, drafting summaries, and helping maintain prioritization.
• Draft and refine user stories and acceptance criteria with Product Owners and Product Managers.
• Gather and analyze requirements, using approved AI tools with human review and validation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support UAT planning and tracking, validate sprint outcomes, and document feedback and next steps.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or have equivalent relevant experience or projects.
• Interest in or coursework covering Agile and Lean product development and the Product Owner role.
• Ability to convert written and verbal input into concise, testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Comfort using approved AI tools with sound judgment, discretion, and adherence to privacy and security guidance.
• Strong collaboration, communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with at least 3 days per week in the Atlanta office.
