Engineering Team Lead (Kotlin/Spring Boot)

What you will do

• Lead a product-focused engineering team building core B2B platform capabilities for internal business customers.
• Own the Finance Automation domain and translate finance and accounting requirements into scalable platform solutions.
• Drive automation for reconciliation, accounting workflows, and financial data processing.
• Define architectural decisions, align APIs and technical interfaces, and operate the team’s microservices.
• Hire, develop, and grow a team of two engineers while fostering an ownership- and reliability-focused culture.
• Write production code, solve complex technical challenges, and champion effective AI use in engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Proven people leadership experience with an empowering management style.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Spring Boot, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining microservices on Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of event-driven processing pipelines built with Kafka.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in secure, scalable, and reliable systems, including resilience patterns and production operations.
• Experience with agentic AI development practices and operating models.
