B2 Licensed Engineer (Helicopter)

Location: Oxford, United Kingdom; daily deployment to customer locations is required during shifts.

hirify.global UK operates a civil helicopter hub at Oxford Airport and provides helicopter sales, completion, maintenance, flight-testing, certification, training, and spares support for civil and military applications.

What you will do

• Perform maintenance inspections and defect rectification on helicopter electrical, avionics, mechanical, structural, airframe, and power plant systems.
• Use specialised test equipment and replace avionics line-replaceable units, completing tests to confirm serviceability.
• Carry out line maintenance at customer locations using a company-provided van.
• Supervise maintenance fitters and certify their completed work.
• Support hangar operations, including aircraft movements and general housekeeping.

Requirements

• UK CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.
• Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems, hirify.global products, and specialised test equipment.
• Working knowledge of UK CAA Part 145, Part M, and UK ANO requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and respond flexibly to customer requirements.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Current legal right to work in the United Kingdom and ability to obtain SC clearance are required; candidates generally need to have lived in the UK for the previous five years. A mandatory BPSS check applies, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Type ratings on AS350, EC130, EC135, H135, EC145, H145, or H160.
• Experience in multiple operational environments.
