Safe Life Structure Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Filton, UK, Bristol Area; occasional travel required.

What you will do

• Produce and maintain Airworthiness Limitations Section Part 1 safe-life justification documents across hirify.global commercial aircraft programmes, except A220.
• Lead technical certification for new safe-life structural parts, including landing gear components.
• Act as Technical Approver and Compliance Demonstration Engineer for critical airworthiness deliverables.
• Represent airline requirements within Design Engineering and integrate scheduled maintenance needs into aircraft design.
• Reduce Direct Maintenance Costs while supporting aircraft operational availability.
• Supervise outsourced work packages, support process digitalization, and resolve airline technical queries.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of professional experience, preferably in aeronautical engineering support or aircraft maintenance.
• Knowledge of airframe engineering with a focus on safe-life structures.
• Broad knowledge of civil aircraft systems and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.
• Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance is required.
• Fluent English and strong presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
