Fleet Maintenance Supervisor - Second Shift (Heavy Equipment)

Location: Massillon, Ohio, USA; onsite, second shift

Salary: $67,600–$92,950 per year, plus a 10% annual incentive plan target.

What you will do

• Supervise technicians responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of trucks, containers, and heavy equipment.
• Plan and schedule repair work, monitor operational performance, and redirect activities to maintain safe and timely operations.
• Lead shop huddles, fleet walks, coaching, training, performance evaluations, and personnel decisions with management and Human Resources.
• Oversee diagnostics, outside-repair inspections, road tests, quality-control inspections, and corrective actions.
• Manage inventory, parts and equipment purchases, expenses, maintenance records, payroll information, and departmental budgets.
• Apply advanced knowledge of diesel engines, emissions, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, and welding to support complex repairs.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Massillon, Ohio, USA, on the second shift.
• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE certification, including T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC Systems, ASE T2 Diesel Engine, and ASE T Master Certified.
• At least 3 years of heavy-equipment maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician, supervisor, or management role.
• Thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA, and federal and state regulations.
