Pathophysiology Visiting Professor (Part-Time/Remote)

Location: Remote, United States; unencumbered Illinois RN licensure is required.

Compensation: $850–$1,950 per earned credit hour, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach NR283: Pathophysiology in the online BSN nursing program.
• Lead asynchronous discussions and synchronous live lectures each week.
• Serve as a facilitator, coach, advisor, and professional role model for nursing students.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Grade assignments, quizzes, tests, laboratory work, and clinical paperwork.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration on curriculum, assessment, retention, and student support.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Unencumbered Illinois RN licensure required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, and professional judgment.
• Subject matter expertise in pathophysiology and a passion for nursing education and lifelong learning.
• Ability to support students and colleagues with responsibility, respect, and care.

Nice to have

• Experience teaching in an online or remote format.
• Multi-state compact nursing licensure.
• Experience developing student relationships and delivering instruction through online tools.
