PMHNP (Adjunct)

Location: Remote, United States. Minnesota RN and APRN licenses are required or must be obtained as a condition of employment. Part-time faculty may optionally attend domestic or international residencies.

Compensation: $1,560–$4,080 per quarter or semester for graduate course instruction, and $700–$2,200 per quarter for undergraduate course instruction.

What you will do

• Teach assigned courses through the Canvas online learning platform.
• Interact with students through discussion boards and other online channels.
• Respond to student questions within 48 hours and provide timely feedback and grades.
• Verify the accuracy of student postings and submissions and assess academic integrity.
• Maintain predictable online availability through office hours, chats, syllabi, or instructor information.
• Participate in residencies, research supervision, and other assigned academic duties when applicable.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in the relevant or a closely related field from an accredited or recognized institution.
• Active, unencumbered PMHNP certification.
• Minnesota RN and APRN licenses, or willingness to obtain them.
• At least one year of clinical practice as a PMHNP.
• Reliable internet access, suitable computer equipment, and ability to use Microsoft Office, zip software, Adobe Acrobat, and Canvas.
• Commitment to teaching, advising, mentoring, student development, communication, teamwork, and maintaining current professional knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience with distance learning.
• Significant intellectual and professional contributions to nursing or mental health practice.
