Maternal Child Didactic Nursing Instructor (Part-Time) (Nursing Education)

Location: Miramar, Florida, USA; courses include face-to-face instruction blended with online learning. Evening availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays is preferred.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach maternal-child nursing to undergraduate and graduate students on a course-by-course basis.
• Develop and deliver an approved syllabus with defined course objectives, assignments, examinations, and grading criteria.
• Prepare, organize, and regularly update course materials using online platforms, email, websites, and discussion tools.
• Teach family-centered maternal and newborn care, childbearing, women’s health, health promotion, complications, and diverse clinical settings.
• Prepare and grade examinations consistently, provide timely feedback, and support student learning through effective communication.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Previous teaching experience in the course subject required.
• Advanced subject-matter expertise in the field of instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, and sound judgment.
• Passion for nursing, education, lifelong learning, and student support.
