Adult Health I and II - Didactic Nursing Faculty (Part-time/Remote) (Nursing Education)

Compensation: $715–$1,950 per earned credit hour, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach Adult Health I and Adult Health II in the online BSN nursing program.
• Lead asynchronous discussions and deliver weekly synchronous live lectures with morning and evening scheduling options.
• Prepare, organize, and regularly update course materials using the approved syllabus and terminal course objectives.
• Use online technologies, email, conferencing, websites, and course software to make learning accessible.
• Develop course expectations, assignments, examinations, and evaluation criteria aligned with course objectives.
• Prepare and grade assessments consistently, provide timely feedback, and support students through email, online conferencing, or telephone.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Unencumbered professional nurse licensure; willingness to obtain an Illinois license if not already licensed.
• Two to three years of teaching experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, initiative, judgment, and subject-matter expertise.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Compact multi-state RN license.
