Nursing PhD Faculty (Nursing)

Location: Remote, United States

Compensation: $1,560–$4,080 per graduate course per quarter or semester, depending on course type and length.

What you will do

• Teach assigned courses in the fully online PhD in Nursing program using Canvas.
• Mentor doctoral students and serve on or chair dissertation committees.
• Engage students in the online classroom at least four days per week and respond to inquiries within 48 hours.
• Deliver substantive instruction and timely feedback in line with academic standards.
• Participate in research, scholarship, academic advising, and School of Nursing activities.

Requirements

• PhD in Nursing or a related discipline with strong research-methods expertise.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 U.S. states.
• Experience teaching online in a master's or doctoral nursing program.
• Experience serving on dissertation committees and mentoring doctoral students.
• Expertise in nursing theory, research methods, leadership, nursing education, or population health.
• Demonstrated scholarship through publications, research, presentations, committee service, or academic advisement.

Nice to have

• At least one year of online teaching experience at the master's or doctoral level.
• Externally funded research experience.
• Experience chairing dissertation committees.
