Bachelor of Social Work (Adjunct)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $700–$2,200 per quarter for undergraduate course instruction, depending on course type and length.

What you will do

• Teach undergraduate social work courses using the university’s learning management system.
• Develop course content and participate in curricular activities as needed.
• Provide academic advising, mentoring, and timely written feedback to students.
• Promote a professional social work identity and support student learning in a distance education environment.
• Maintain regular online classroom availability at least four days per week and respond to student questions within 48 hours.
• Participate in scholarship, research activities, and other assigned academic duties.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
• Required MSW from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program.
• At least two years of post-graduate social work practice experience.
• Three to five years of undergraduate or graduate teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with distance education and supporting students in online degree programs preferred.
• Appropriate academic credentials and any required licenses or certifications must be maintained.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate teaching experience.
• Experience with online teaching platforms and student development in a distance learning environment.
• Research experience and evidence of alignment with positive social change and student-centered education.
