Mental Health Counseling Faculty (Counseling)

Location: Remote, United States

Compensation: $1,560–$4,080 per graduate course per quarter or semester; $700–$2,200 per undergraduate course per quarter.

What you will do

• Teach and mentor students in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program through the Blackboard learning platform.
• Respond to student questions, verify submissions, provide feedback and grades, and maintain regular online availability.
• Lead and mentor students in thesis, dissertation, and research activities.
• Supervise students during field training experiences and contribute to program assessment.
• Participate in residencies, pre-practica, faculty meetings, and other work-related travel as required.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Counseling or Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program and institution.
• Current state licensure as a mental health professional.
• At least three years of experience teaching and mentoring master's and/or doctoral students; thesis or dissertation research direction is preferred.
• Experience supervising students in field training and supporting research processes.
• Reliable internet access, suitable computer equipment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, zip software, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and participate in occasional domestic travel, including residencies and pre-practica.

Nice to have

• Experience directing thesis or dissertation research.
• Eligibility to serve on doctoral dissertations.
