Interface Accountant 1

Location: Taguig City, National Capital Region, Philippines; hybrid setup with onsite reporting required as needed

What you will do

• Support monthly and quarterly close activities for the account-to-report team.
• Analyze and correct interface errors while meeting KPI and SLA commitments.
• Reconcile source and target systems across SAP, S/4, JDE, and Oracle, and record accruals for failed interfaces.
• Prepare documentation, audit trails, supporting evidence, journal entry records, and reconciliation materials.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, senior team members, analysts, technology partners, Compliance, and regional teams to resolve issues.
• Support process standardization, automation, data quality, and reporting reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting, finance operations, account-to-report, general ledger, reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit, shared services, or related finance work; strong fresh graduates may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities.
• Experience in a multinational shared service center or BPO, with strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and compliance.
• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft applications proficiency, with the ability to review financial data, analyze errors, follow procedures, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work night shifts or shifting schedules supporting global assignments across the Americas, and to work onsite in Taguig as required.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or another relevant finance certification.
• Exposure to SAP, BlackLine, Cadency, or other ERP and reporting tools.
• Skills in Alteryx or other automation and AI tools.
• Interest in digital tools, process improvement, reporting, and data quality.
