Pricing Analyst, U.S. Interchange Strategy

Location: Hybrid role based in the Foster City, California office, with at least 3 days in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $104,900–$163,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and applicable sales incentives.

What you will do

• Support annual interchange rate refreshes by modeling rate adjustments and evaluating volume and revenue tradeoffs.
• Develop pricing strategies and interchange economics for new and emerging hirify.global products.
• Analyze competitor pricing structures, regulatory developments, and market dynamics.
• Build financial models for client deal structures, custom packages, and portfolio migration scenarios.
• Prepare economic summaries, competitive context, and strategic rationale for senior-level deal approvals.
• Partner with Issuing Deals, Acceptance, Commercial Solutions, and Product teams on client engagements and product launches.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor's or advanced degree.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, financial-modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to synthesize large datasets and develop fact-based recommendations in ambiguous environments.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience querying large transaction datasets with SQL.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with senior leaders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Experience using AI tools, large language models, copilots, or automation workflows for analytical work.
• Exposure to payments, financial services, or network economics.
• Experience preparing executive- or committee-level decision materials.
