Senior Financial Analyst - Customer Success

Location: Mountain View, California, or San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $127,000–$172,000 in Mountain View; $120,000–$162,500 in San Diego, plus potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with business and finance leaders on short- and long-term strategic and financial planning.
• Build financial models covering business performance, unit economics, ROI, and scenario outcomes.
• Lead mid-month and month-end financial reviews, identifying and quantifying variance drivers.
• Own headcount planning, including forecasts, plan variance analysis, and cost implications.
• Translate complex financial data and ambiguous business questions into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Improve planning and reporting through automation and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or data science in a technology company.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Python or SQL is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate data into strategic insights and business results.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and communicate with senior audiences.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or certification such as an MBA, CPA, or CFA.
• Experience with Python or SQL.
