IT Technician (Windows/Microsoft 365)

Location: Woodmere, New York; dedicated onsite support for a New York City client

What you will do

• Provide onsite and remote support for workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, and end-user environments.
• Support WAN, LAN, VPN, routers, firewalls, connectivity, and basic security issues.
• Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and maintain documentation in ConnectWise and IT Glue.
• Communicate directly with end users and C-level executives while keeping them informed throughout issue resolution.
• Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to improve and maintain the client’s IT environment.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on IT support experience; MSP experience is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Microsoft 365, and end-user environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools; ConnectWise experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant certifications such as A+ or Network+ are a plus.
