IT Support Specialist (Microsoft 365)

Location: Benson, NC, United States; onsite work in office and manufacturing facilities. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, office equipment, and software.
• Handle IT onboarding and offboarding, including hardware provisioning, account creation, and user training.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, servers, and industrial devices in a manufacturing environment.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, Azure AD/Entra ID, and MFA access.
• Maintain on-premises Active Directory, including users, groups, GPOs, OUs, Entra Connect, and least-privilege access.
• Maintain asset inventories and documentation while supporting engineering, operations, quality, automation, and data-collection workflows.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 administration, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with NIST and CMMC frameworks and ITAR/EAR export-controlled environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently and maintain a hands-on support approach.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in server rooms within a manufacturing environment.
• CompTIA A+ and U.S. Person status are required.
