What you will do

• Guide department employees in the supervisor’s absence and communicate operational information across shifts.
• Read work orders and ensure properly performed products are produced according to quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and maximize efficiency through planned work assignments.
• Train new operators and operate equipment when needed to maintain productivity.
• Oversee general preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Collaborate with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.

Requirements

• Ability to follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow GMP guidelines and quality requirements.
• Ability to understand work orders, production schedules, attendance systems, and job reporting requirements.
• Ability to maintain established equipment efficiency and production rates.
• Ability to work with supervisors, machine operators, peers, and other departments.
