Lead Operator Polymer Center (Recycling)

Location: Allentown, PA, USA; onsite, full-time position.

What you will do

• Direct Operators, Forklift Operators, Sorters, and other equipment operators during the assigned shift.
• Operate and oversee sorting, grinding, and washing equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Inspect equipment before and after operation, monitor operational readiness, and minimize downtime.
• Monitor production and waste materials for unacceptable product or waste and support product delivery.
• Perform and document minor equipment service, complete condition reports, and escalate complex repairs to Maintenance.
• Build a collaborative team environment, coach employees, and support their career development.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or recycling experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.
• Ability to direct staff and follow the manufacturing plan for an assigned shift.
• Ability to follow safety policies, manage time effectively, and complete assigned responsibilities.
• Professional customer service, communication, cooperation, honesty, and trustworthiness.
