Polymer Center Maintenance Supervisor (Recycling Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Supervise and direct mechanical and electrical technicians in the Polymer Center maintenance shop.
• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for fixed and mobile manufacturing equipment, buildings, and facilities.
• Conduct quality-control inspections and track issue resolution in accordance with safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inventory levels, purchasing, expenses, major repairs, and external maintenance providers and contracts.
• Diagnose complex equipment issues and coach technicians on repair solutions.
• Partner with Operations Support to implement company-wide maintenance systems, including CMMS.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in recycling, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience as a lead technician, supervisor, or manager.
• Thorough knowledge of safe working practices, OSHA requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in polymer sorting, grinding, washing, and material-handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational, staff-direction, collaboration, and root-cause problem-solving skills.
