Manager, Cloud and Connectivity (Azure)

Salary: €83,702–€115,088 per year, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve Azure Cloud and Connectivity platforms, landing zones, subscription structures, management groups, and governance frameworks.
• Define and enforce global cloud engineering standards across Azure, server, and network environments.
• Guide cloud and networking partners, review engineering outputs and change requests, and ensure compliance with global IT standards.
• Drive optimisation, modernisation, automation, security improvements, cloud migrations, and the transition from on-premises to cloud-hosted workloads.
• Lead infrastructure and technology projects from opportunity assessment and business cases through implementation and transition into operations.
• Provide technical expertise to infrastructure, security, architecture, and business application teams while supporting strategy, roadmaps, budgets, KPIs, SLAs, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in information systems infrastructure and cloud networking.
• Strong expertise in Azure, SD-WAN, Cisco, landing zones, Azure Policy, networking, IaaS/PaaS governance, and cost management.
• Experience managing outsourced Azure and networking environments, global server estates, cloud migrations, and hybrid on-premises/cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or an equivalent tool, along with CI/CD for infrastructure automation.
• Enterprise networking expertise covering BGP, WAN architecture, firewall policies, and network segmentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
