Data Platform DevOps Engineer (Python/Azure): Building and maintaining customer data integration APIs for NN’s Customer Data Platform with an accent on scalable, secure, production-ready API delivery and end-to-end integration reliability. What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and improve Customer Data Integration APIs using Python and Azure services (including Azure Function Apps) and Databricks-related technologies.
• Set up and improve Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, release, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering & Platform teams to implement end-to-end data integration solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure observability, reliability, and production readiness of APIs.
• Ensure API quality, performance, security, access control, lifecycle management, and cost efficiency.
• Migrate legacy customer data APIs to the Customer Data Platform’s new architectural standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer/developer.
• Strong hands-on Python experience for clean, testable, maintainable API code.
• Experience designing and building APIs and backend services with Python frameworks/libraries.
• Solid understanding of API design principles, versioning, authentication/authorization, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices focused on automation, reliability, and reproducibility.
• Practical experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Function Apps, Azure Key Vault) and Azure networking/security (VNets, private endpoints, NSGs, firewall, secure API exposure).
