Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Hybrid work in Kleve, Germany, or Utrecht, Netherlands

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and improve Azure cloud and Kubernetes platforms, including AKS.
• Implement cloud infrastructure based on approved standards, architectures, and business requirements.
• Maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security; investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support application and infrastructure teams with cloud requirements and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Contribute technical expertise to upgrades, patching, automation, infrastructure projects, and cloud modernization.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms, preferably AKS.
• Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Azure DevOps, Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux server environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and firewalls.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, operational support, troubleshooting, and service-oriented communication.
