Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid or remote across Europe (hubs in Berlin, London, Tallinn).

What you will do

• Own daily tax activities and support the Product team in executing complex tax calculations like Vorabpauschale.
• Lead the implementation and operational governance of regulatory reporting, including MiKaDiv and NEK workflows.
• Manage customer tax exemptions, loss pot management, and automated account adjustments for deceased accounts.
• Act as a business analyst for Product and Tech teams, translating German tax updates into automated core banking logic.
• Ensure flawless generation of annual tax certificates and manage complex edge cases for joint accounts.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of German tax law (InvStG) and financial reporting requirements.
• Fluent German language skills required for managing tax documentation and regulatory communication.
• Experience in operations, business analysis, or product support within the fintech or banking sector.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams.
• Must be based in Europe to align with hybrid/remote hub operations.
