Regional Procurement Director (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; hybrid

Salary: $275,000–$330,000 annually, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Lead the AMER Category Management team across long-lead equipment, MEP, whitespace, modular and prefabrication packages, consultants, and services.
• Develop preferred supply partners and manage regional supplier relationships.
• Implement global sourcing standards, procurement policy, and end-to-end procurement processes across the region.
• Own procurement plans for active AMER projects and secure schedule-critical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, generators, chillers, and cooling infrastructure.
• Negotiate regional supply and framework agreements in partnership with Procurement Legal Counsel.
• Align procurement sequencing with project delivery stage gates and provide spend, risk, and commitment visibility to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of procurement experience in data centers, energy, or large-scale infrastructure construction.
• Direct experience with North American supply chains and vendor markets.
• Experience leading category management teams and enforcing sourcing discipline.
• Experience negotiating master and framework agreements and managing OEM relationships for long-lead, capital-intensive equipment.
• Experience working in a matrix delivery organization and alongside legal counsel on complex commercial terms.
• Clear communication with senior stakeholders and a collaborative approach to building a new team.
