Associate Director, Procurement Category Management & Capability Leadership (AI/Emerging Technology)

Salary: $141,500–$268,500 per year

What you will do

• Develop global procurement strategies for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies with VP-level stakeholders.
• Lead complex procurement programs and initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Create capability playbooks, negotiation strategies, and deployment training for procurement teams.
• Lead supplier relationship management, supplier roadmaps, negotiations, and procurement risk mitigation.
• Drive sourcing strategy, contract negotiation and execution, cost savings, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Guide cross-functional teams and promote adoption of technology use cases that improve speed, quality, and competitive advantage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, technology, consulting, business, or operations.
• Expertise in category management, market analysis, cost and financial assessment, negotiation, bidding, and complex project management.
• Strong stakeholder management, supplier relationship management, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, resilience, and an autonomous work ethic.

Nice to have

• Experience leading category or IT teams, consulting, partnering with major suppliers, and reporting to senior leaders.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
