OFCI Procurement Manager (Data Centers)

Base compensation: $107,100–$133,800 USD per year

What you will do

• Define OFCI equipment scope and coordinate specifications, layouts, diagrams, and datasheets with design, engineering, and construction teams.
• Issue RFQs and RFPs, lead technical and commercial bid evaluations, conduct vendor interviews, and negotiate performance, delivery, testing, and warranty terms.
• Manage procurement and delivery of critical electrical, mechanical, controls, and monitoring equipment, including generators, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, BMS, EPMS, and SCADA.
• Monitor vendor engineering, manufacturing, testing, inspections, FATs, non-conformances, corrective actions, and technical change control.
• Coordinate logistics, customs clearance, equipment storage, installation readiness, contractor handover, commissioning, and integrated systems testing.
• Track critical-path procurement risks and complete as-built documentation, O&M manuals, warranties, and OFCI package closeout.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, supply chain management, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience and technical training.
• 5+ years of experience in technical procurement or engineering for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Proven experience procuring long-lead, high-reliability OFCI equipment.
• Strong understanding of critical power and cooling systems.
• Experience with FATs, commissioning, and contractor coordination.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of employment eligibility.

Nice to have

• Hyperscale or colocation data center experience.
• Knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier standards or equivalent reliability frameworks.
