Product Counsel (Healthcare)

Location: US Remote; role is intended for US-based candidates

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 per year for US-based candidates, with equity compensation potentially available.

What you will do

• Partner with Product, Growth, and Marketing teams on product development, category launches, digital product design, and educational materials.
• Identify privacy and regulatory issues and align actionable guidance with Regulatory and Privacy Counsel.
• Review advertising, website content, social media posts, and product packaging for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Provide practical, business-focused, and solutions-oriented legal advice.
• Build trusted relationships with business partners and stay current on product developments and the changing legal landscape.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 4+ years of post-law-school experience at a law firm or in-house advising business teams.
• Experience with promotional and e-commerce activities, FTC laws and regulations, and state consumer protection laws.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, supported by strong business judgment and a creative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience advising on FDA-regulated products.
• Experience with trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property matters.
• Working knowledge of US and state consumer privacy laws and healthcare privacy laws.
