Govt Progs Compliance Consultant (Medicare Part D)

Location: Remote, based in Tennessee/Nashville, United States

Base pay: $61,500–$136,100 annually; annual incentive bonus plan may apply.

What you will do

• Evaluate Medicare regulations, CMS guidance, and government contract requirements for compliance risks.
• Support accurate and timely implementation of regulatory requirements across internal operations and assigned First Tier, Downstream, and Related Entities.
• Review universes and reports, attend operational meetings, and monitor high-risk compliance areas.
• Identify, assess, and escalate compliance risks and issues.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor mitigation and remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with compliance colleagues, business partners, leadership, governmental agencies, and FDRs on Part D compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in health plans, regulatory compliance, or risk management, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with internal business units and external government agencies.
• Critical thinking, risk assessment, mitigation, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• PC proficiency, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Government Programs healthcare compliance or operational experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare Part D regulatory and operational requirements.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification or pharmacy-related experience.
• Experience communicating compliance risks to senior leadership and business partners.
• Experience working with PBMs or other delegated entities.
