Product Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end strategy, vision, roadmap, and execution for the accountant proposition.
• Lead a cross-functional squad across Engineering, Design, Data, and Operations.
• Deliver a multi-client accountant experience for monitoring, reconciliation, and advisory workflows across SME portfolios.
• Define access models, permissions, and controls for accountant access to client accounts.
• Use customer discovery, prototyping, research, and data to validate priorities and measure outcomes.
• Manage product, regulatory, and delivery risks with Compliance and Risk teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in financial services, fintech, banking, or professional services software.
• Deep understanding of accountant and bookkeeper workflows, including reconciliation, VAT, payroll, client management, and cash-flow advisory.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
• Experience taking a product from MVP to a fully developed proposition.
• Strong commercial judgment, OKR ownership, data-driven prioritization, and communication skills.
• Experience working in agile squads with Engineers, Designers, Data Analysts, and Operations.
