Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work required from the London or Porto office

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end merchant onboarding journey from offer acceptance through activation and first transaction.
• Improve first-pass approval rates by reducing document friction, rework, and manual escalations.
• Own the onboarding roadmap, identify funnel leakage, build business cases, prioritize initiatives, and report on outcomes.
• Build and use funnel dashboards, define event taxonomies, and turn product data into focus areas.
• Use AI tools, reusable skills, and automations to analyze drop-off, draft requirements, and accelerate delivery.
• Partner with Risk, Engineering, Design, and Sales across multiple European markets.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of product experience, ideally with onboarding, activation, or conversion-sensitive flows.
• Experience using product analytics tools such as Amplitude and defining event taxonomies.
• Ability to independently query and interpret data using SQL or self-serve analytics tools.
• Experience owning a funnel and improving measurable product metrics.
• Ability to work independently with Risk, Engineering, Design, and Sales in an ambiguous, stakeholder-heavy environment.
• Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools and interest in building agentic workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, or another regulated environment involving KYC, identity, or compliance.
• Commercial awareness and ability to connect activation improvements with revenue.
