Junior Associate Acoustics Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Seoul, South Korea; hybrid schedule with regular in-office collaboration and most office-based roles onsite three days a week. Occasional domestic and international travel is required, along with occasional early morning or evening meetings to collaborate with teams in Europe and the US.

What you will do

• Design, fabricate, and install custom Class A parts and wiring in vehicles.
• Support acoustic integration of automotive audio products and materials.
• Assist with main audio tuning through vehicle testing and measurement.
• Tune warning and electrical sounds using objective and subjective evaluation methods.
• Manage measurement tools and car laboratory activities.
• Perform in-vehicle EQ checks before software releases.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in at least two relevant areas, including psycho-acoustics, recording arts, car audio, automotive fabrication, sound system design, room acoustics, music technology, or electrical technology.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required for communication with OEM customers and regional engineering teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required clearance or access approval for customer programs with specific security requirements.
• Flexibility, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
